The Driveway Monitor will let you do all that without even running wires. Just mount the battery-operated Sensor/Transmitter on the included mounting stake, in a tree, or anywhere else near your driveway. When its magnetometer sensor detects a vehicle passing by on the driveway, it sends a radio signal to the AC-powered Receiver Unit that you plug into any electrical outlet in your home. The Sensor transmits up to 500 ft. (line-of-sight, distance will vary with mounting location). The Receiver Unit will respond with an audible tone, and the green Alert LED will flash until you push the Reset button.
